havent bloggged for quite some time cos i just came back from malaysia the day before. yesterday morning went to rgs then andss then back to rgs to give some forms with kim. then went newton circus for lunch and proceeded to orchard for shoppping! as usual, the normal shopping things.. oh and when i was at robinsons this old lady, around 70 years old was trying on corsets!!! yes! corsets! haha. it was quite obvious that she didnt know how to put them on cos the promoter had to put it on herself to show the old lady. quite funny. bought a pants from somewhere after that.. mum bought a skirt from liz claiborne. quite nice, but rather long. haha.
now i shall talk about today. today's quite a tiring day. met sherilyn at 11 at serangoon centrl to have lunch then went to buy sausages, pineapple and paint. then walked to her house to help her paint her room. we didnt realise that the paint was peeling at first so we had to scrape the paint off the walls. no, we didnt use a scraper and yes, we used a choppers. it as indeed tedious work. three girls in the room, including the maid in the room scrapping the walls like constructing workers.
yup. this is a brief summary about what happened the past two days, in case you want to know what happened.
bye!

it's time for exercise. so far i havent been jogging three times a week. if you didnt know, i was supposed to do so. cos i've this thing in my body which makes me sleep even more if i didnt jog. what rubbish! anyway, i've been eating lots and lots of rubbish these days. not those from garbage bins, but those with high salt and sugar content, and are usually found in plastic wrappers or boxes. today my bro's sailing friends came over for a christmas party. gosh. i had fried noodles of clams/ oyster/shell, which is high in cholestrol, honey baked ham, high in fats, leftover pizza and lasagna, high in salt and carbo, icecream, chocolates, high in suger content and almond jelly and can fruits. actually i dont really fancy almond jelly, but because of it's horribly distinctive taste, it becomes nice to eat. [it's alright if you dont undestand what i mean. marya knows]the only healthy healthy thing tonight is the cucumber and cherry tomato salad. i tried my best to eat as much as possible to overcome my guilt, and i'm quite proud of the amount i ate cos i dont really eat veggies, except kangkong, beans and pods. so tonight's the night of the battle between healthiness and unhealthiness, fruits and veggies versus junk food. guess who'll win? ok. what am i talking about now. this is how i normally think about the day. quite weird. but who cares.
my leg's having pins and needles now. my mum calls ut needles and stones.haha. dont ask me why. i get pins and needles quite often cos i always sit and sleep in awkward positions, restricting blood flow. hah. i like the feeling of it cos it's neither painful nor itchy, and it's not ticklelish either. the feeling's nice. just right. quite fun too. haha. i'm weird. oh, i like the numb feeling too. i always cross my legs in class when the lessons gets too boring [oops] and wait for the numbness to set in. it's quite nice, especially when you hit your leg and you cant feel a thing. the best part is when the sense of touch starts coming back. the feeling's great. hahaa. but of course, we shouldnt take even this much forgotten sense of touch and feeling for granted. we should appreciate what we have. yup.
now my feet's getting numb again...

havent blogged for a few days and the reason is simply cos i dont feel like it. been doing many things these few days. was busy since saturday. when to do the backdrop for the christmas musical then went to auntie kerines house for a gathering/party. heh. quite fun. played many rounds of heart attack and i only heart attacked two times!!! two RARE times indeed. then at night at around eleven plus when the adults finished their drinking, val and i had wine tasting. they were not bad. i liked the white wine, which, although was sweeter, had the same alcohol content as the rest of the wines. so people get drunk more easily cos it's a sweeter drink and people tend to drink faster and more, i guess.
then on sunday went for a cousin's wedding dinner at marina madarin. the food was not bad. our table only had seven people so i got to eat three bowls of sharks fin. i learnt the trick to eating sharks fin. we should eat those that are left over at the bottom cos the real sharks fin would sink. those things on top are normally shredded crabmeat and shredded chicken breast. haha. then also had abalone. eat until super full. yay.
on monday woke up super late, like around eleven plus. then in the afternoon went to orchard to do last minute shopping. finally managed to buy some christmas presents. and i bought new socks!!! how i love socks but hate to wear shoes.haha. saw pam yeo and esther soon. didnt talk much to them though. walked till like about nine plus at night. terribly tired.
finally, i shall talk about today. woke at around eight plus then did some clearing then went thomson plaza goldheart jewery to buy present for cousin's wedding next year. saw jit but he walked away too fast, even before i could say hi to him. then went to queensway cos julius want to buy bags. bought two bags. one deuter and the other high sierra. not bad looking. after that crossed the road and went to ikea to buy even more presents and some home deco stuff. bought new pillow case and blanket too!! yay! yup. this is today. i've got to go.bye.
i sincerely apologise to readers for sentence structure errors. i just write what i think and made no corrections.

ouch. i think i sprained my arm yesterday.. must be all the shifting we did yesterday and he didnt even lift a finger to help!!! but never mind la, at least the pain isnt that bad. still quite bearable. today has been quite a fun day. woke up terrible late, at 1115. then rushed to misskoh's house for lunch. hee.FREE lunch!! haha. so exciting. she ordered pizza and kfc. not bad la, quite full. then played jenga and monopoly with her other students. and i owned the most expensive property, nassim road and queen astrid park, and the cheapest property, geylang and serangoon road. i also owned the second cheapest property, braddle, thomson and farrer road. which means that owned a whole row of properties and the most ex one. not bad eh. but it was a pity i didnt get to built any house, let alone hotels cos i didnt lend on any of them!!!!!! at least i learnt from the other time when i played with jop, jit, joshua, eugenia and peijing. today's game was less exciting though, cos this time's game was with smaller kids and were easier to negotiate with. heh. also the other time when i played with peijing etc, it was like until 3 in the morning. it was quite long, and the negotiating part was very exciting. haha. like signing so may treaties and super crazy deals. hehs.
then after misskoh's house, i went down to serena's house. didnt do much, just lazed around the whole day and watched tv. went home at around 630.

verse one
i am hungry, i am hungry, to-o hungry to sing

about what i want to eat
chorus
oh how i love food, how i love food
how i love food so much..
how i love food, except veggies
a-nd fried fish i loathe
verse two
chocolate cake, chocolate truffle, whichever i cant decide
chicken rice or me-e soto
anything will do just fine
chorus
verse three

The Tale of the Tales
train tales
just the other day i was in the train travelling from ang mo kio to singapore expo. can you imagine?? it was a 19 stations long journey, including city hall station.
the beginnig of the ride was rather uneventful. just the normal people following their daily routine; going out, going home, and even pretending not to see an old lady standing in front of them when they're seated comfortably on the train. as the train passed station after station, the journey became incredibly exciting. people, weird ones, those that catches your eye, came on board. [just a gentle reminder, this is NOT the polar express]. perhaps i'm being mean to say that they're weird cos actually they're not a single bit. it's just that sometimes for that split second you find that they're not what you normally expect to see. to begin with, there was this young man, guess he was in his mid twenties, carrying a female handbag!! in was a sweet pastel pink one, with short brown handles, the size of an average handbag. there was a nalgene water bottle in it and what's more, he carried it on his shoulders like most women do! it couldnt be that he was carrying it for his girlfriend/wife/mother/sister cos he alighted alone, and besides, a normal man would not carry a a handbag in such a way. maybe he thinks it's funky and wants to be different. i wonder why.
then this bunch of people from xxxx school boarded. they're from ncc[air], both girls and guys. nothing much to say about them actually, but just that they were a bit too noisy and i cant stand their high pitched giggles. oh yucks.
the next guy who boarded the train caught everyone's attention. if you think that i, standing at 168cm, am tall, you're wrong. this guy who boarded the train had to bend down to enter the train, just like a giraffe bending down to reach for water in a river. i'm exaggerating here, but it's just to give you a clearer picture. by the way, the guy's an afro-american, and wore a basketball jersey like an nba player. imagine his height..
after an hour we finally reached sinpore expo. the time is 1030pm.
perhaps the other passengers must think that we're weird.
the tale of the great battle
that night we stayed at the SAF Yacht Club suite for the night. it was quite a nice night, and mum, rim and i watched the musical singing in the rain on dvd, while dad went out to talk to his friends. he came back to the room and everybody fell asleep soon after that, all except me. there was nothing to do but to just lie in bed and stare at the ceiling. so at about 1 am i decided to go out to the balcony, which faces the sea to read newspaper. i thought that it would be nice cos i'd be all alone, doing what i love to do. but instead, it became a battle between mozzy's army and me. [they're mosquitoes, if you didnt know that]. i started out strongly, killing many of my opponents with me quick reflexes. mozzy and many of his friends died under my hands. literally under my hands. my deepest sympathy and condolences. it was a good fight and i thought i had won the battle, but the opponent was just too strong and determined. they refused to give up sent reinforcements to the battlefield. they used various tactics and attacked me from many different areas. i was the only one in my army, the blue guards. finally, i realised that i was fighting a loosing battle. there was absolutely no way i could kill them all. there were too many of them and only one of me. so i decided to surrender.
the tale of the mysterious shoes
so i went back to the room and layed on the bed till i fell asleep. and i dreamt. it was quite a silly dream, but quite scary to me when i was in the dream. here's it:
my school had this adventure camp at this campsite. after checking into our dorms, we were to line up outside our dorms to wait for further instructions. then out of nowhere, a pair of shoes came walking past us. everyone else just stared at the pair of shoes as it walked past us, except me. i screamed!! i didnt know why, but i just screamed. no one else said a word. then the instructor pulled me aside and told me that we're not supposed to scream when we see such things at the campsite as it's not a rare occurance. the shoes actually belong to a spirit who lives at the campsite. he also said that the spirit would come and haunt me, and in order for this not to happen, i cannot touch myself for three days. isn't it weird? it simply means that my hands cannot be in contact with my own body. heh. furthermore, i had to wear this purple cloak and a hood with pictures of skulls all over it. gosh! then, in my dream, i remembered that i had god on my side. then i told him that if my god can overcome evil spirits, why cant he overcome such things? so i removed the cloak and threw it on the gound. this left the instructor speechless.
then i woke up and it was 1130 in the morning..
yups. this is all i've got for the tale of the tales. stay tuned!

what a tiring day! mel and i spent about 9 hours finishing the deco and backdrop for the christmas today. in total we spent about 18 hours doing the whole thing. it was no joke, esp if only two people doing most of it.fortunately wanjing, dawne and auntie agnus dropped by occasionally to help out. yup. thanks!
now let me talk more about it. i was too lazy to write everything down in my previous entries.hah. to start of with, i'll talk about the clouds first. we [mel and i] had a hard time pasting cotton on the styrofoam cos the glue was sticky [duh] and made a lot of cotton, which were already starting to fall off, stick on our fingers. how sickening. especially the stupid sides. we finally managed to paste cotton all over, including the sides. yay! it was hard work. but still, yaayyyy! hah. this process got ourselves all wooly, or cottony and made us like sheeps. by the way i'm exaggerating. but it was something to that effect.
next was the glittering process. as usual, the glitter were stuck on our hands. we sprinkled them on the clouds and when the spotlight shines on them, they'd look wonderfully beautifully gorgeous. mel and melly have already booked them when the musical is over. by then the glitter might all fall out, but it's alright. after glittering, we, or rather i, poked a hole on the cloud. mel threaded the fishing line through the hole and i cut the string and tied it. we worked like professional factory workers. a factory that makes clouds. a factory that has only two workers. not bad eh. probably the first in the world. hee.
and oh. in the evening we went to amk central to buy glitter. first we went to jubilee popular to looks for gold and slver glitter which are sold individually. they were sold out so we bought those in packets, which consisted of others as well. then we like walked almostt the whole of amk central to looks for a shop that sells fishing line. we went from one shop to another. some shop keepers just stared at us glumly and shook their big heads. others simply said meiyou and went of to entertain other customers who would give them business. still dare call singapore a service industry? i'm ashamed. anyway, we finally landed at a shop where the shop keepers knew how inportant customr service is. it's the shop where marya and i saw the lady with HAs. haha. they told us that the shop beside meizhenxiang sells it. finally! perhaps the rest of the shops knew where to buy it from, but they were just too jealous that they would not be able to earn money from us so they decided not to say just in case the other shop gets to do business with us. the more i would not buy things from these kind of people. so if in any case you're reading this entry and if youreone of those shop keepers i'm refering to, please go rethink your business strategy.
now i'll go on to talk about the sun. we did it yestterday with the help of dawne. i shall not write every single detail here cos the whole sun thing is quite a long story. i'll just say that it'd turn out very terrific. the circle was quite difficult to draw, and dawne and i spent quite a long time trying to make it look as perfect as possible. hah. still, nothing in this world s ever perfect. so we're excused!! oh yes.. please remeber to have a suffiicient amount of eggs before christmas day if not on christmas morning, you'll be craving for eggs. if you know what i mean. heh.
alright. i better end here. it's not very early anymore. goodnight!

ha! spent the whole of today rearranging my room and giving away plenty of books, nearly two thirds of it all. and they are worth a lot of money!! they include about two years collection of national geographic, and a also a set of books written by the famous hans christian anderson and other authors. christopher pike books, and many other series books are included as well. anyone wants to buy? the price can be negotiated. books last a lifetime!! fortunately the tom clancy books were still in good conditions, perfect for my reading pleasure.yayy! [by the way i havent tried reading tom clancy's books yet, but the seem rather interesting]heh. now my room's still in quite a big mess.

hahh! i've finally added some colour in this blog. if you've seen the blogskin when this blog was just born two days ago, you'll probably go like 'it's so dull' or 'it's too serious'.. hee. i feel that colours would light up a person's day, so i decided to add some colour here and there, and also add colour to the entries.like this. see? nice right.
heh. i spent the whole of last night trying out different colour schemes and for everything, even the background. i let it stay white as white represents purity, like me! hah. it was quite tedious as i've never really used html tags/codes, besides the time when i wasforced to do this in sec 1. and that was 4 years ago. let me say it again, 4 years ago!haha. i'm never good at such things. nevertheless, i squeezed out all that i could remember from my brain and WALAA!! TADAA! here's what i've got. a simple byet beautiful blog.yayy! however i think that it can still be further improved. this can be done later though..
and after i finished with the minor adjustments, bb and i decided to play internet games to kill his boredom. first, we played tic tac toe and after two rounds of drawing, we changed our minds and played bejeweled instead. what a silly game for a no brainer. all you have to do is to swop the jewels until there are at least three of the same kind in a row. it was kind of fun actually. initially i was a bit slow but i soon caught up and was winning. but i think after a while the game decided that it didnt like me anymore and i started losing!! ahhhhhhhh! what is this?? haha. but it was partly my fault cos i was quite seh already. i started losing my cencentration and vision became a little blur. then my dad just woke up shooed me away from the comp cos he wanted to check his email. the time reads 2am! anyway, i got up and left cos i cant stand people sitting beside me and staring at what i'm doing at the comp. not even playing games whatsoever. many people dont know how irritating it can be!!! so now you know my limits.
wow! i now smell the all to familiar aroma of indian curry which my neighbour's cooking. by the ways, if you're asking why is it familiar, it's because they cook it almost everyday! they're just short of doing something, which is sharing some with me. you know, sometimes sharing food with others makes your food taste better. heh. i'm not sure if i'm talking sense but i sure hope my point is being brought across. hahah.
talking about food, i suddenly feel like eating school's lor mee [heidi's drooling], or the malay stall auntie's food. i love her stingray and her beef rendang! i definitely do not miss fake food, more commonly known as vegetarian food.. perhaps because i only eat from that stall twice in two years. haha. oh ya! i miss the 20cents soyabean from the drinks stall. haha. we're always treating one another to that.. and not forgetting mee soto! my favourite malay food.yeah!
okay, i think i better stop right here. it's time to think about what i'm going to have for lunch. maybe spaghetti. or maybe just fruits. but wait a minute!
heh. i spent the whole of last night trying out different colour schemes and for everything, even the background. i let it stay white as white represents purity, like me! hah. it was quite tedious as i've never really used html tags/codes, besides the time when i wasforced to do this in sec 1. and that was 4 years ago. let me say it again, 4 years ago!haha. i'm never good at such things. nevertheless, i squeezed out all that i could remember from my brain and WALAA!! TADAA! here's what i've got. a simple byet beautiful blog.yayy! however i think that it can still be further improved. this can be done later though..

hey there!
it's my second time blogging today.not that i purposely came to fill up the space here, but cos i've got to make some minor adjustments to my blog. anyway, i've been in a rather musical mode these few days, or to be more precise, this week. i've been playing my guitar and piano all day long, trying new songs and experimenting with different chords. the worst was last night when i played piano until about 0030 hours. fortunately the piano's quite far away from the rest of the rooms in my house and my next door neighbour isnt asleep yet. so wont disturb anyone.heh. yay! how i love music. this thing about music is partly due to the fact that i've got a concert coming up. nah, it's not those that you've to call sistic up and book $100 tickets kind of concert, but it's a concert where the performers are my piano teacher's students. hah. to put it simply, it's just a small performance to showcase what we've learnt from our dear teacher. i'm not playing many songs though, just a duet with my dear natasha.we'll be playing the lonely goatherd from the sound of music. nice eh. i'll be singing too!! the teachers formed a choir comprising 5 sopranos, 3 alto ones, and 2 alto twos. i'm singing alto two. haha. dont ask me what song we're singing cos i dunno what the title is despite of weeks of practice.haha. it's something to do with flying.. i think..
heh. another reason why i'm in this musical mode is cos my sister thinks that she's a smurf who's blue and is 3 apples tall and likes to sing that tune which goes something like lalalalalalala. for more info, watch kids central in the afternoons!!
oh and my dad just got my room a player that can play vcd, cd, mp3 and dunno what.. yay. i'm not really sure if he bought it, or redeemed it with the points he collected from petrol stations. it has a remote control too! which means that lazy me can just lie in bed and switch off the player. thanks to the person who invented the remote control!!!! isnt it good? thanks again!
i realised that i havent elaborated on yf camp'o4. heh. it was a wondeful experience and i think the workshops were one of the best as compared to the other camps before. i think pastor brian tan's sermons were the best as it was understandable and were important for all of us in that room, even for the bb boys. furthermore, it was something that i very much needed to hear at that point of time. praise God!
however i feel that the games were a lot less xiong as compared to before, partly due to fact that younger people are joining us this year. little people like job, ramkee and gary..
okay, i think i'll end here..i've written quite a fair bit already. it's time to bathe. bye!!!
*skipps off to the bathroom*
