i was so ashamed,all alone and so far away. but now i know that He's been waiting for this day..

hey peoples! if you've noticed, this is my first entry of the year, although it's already the third day of 2005. yes! maybe you didnt realise it, but it's already 2005. most students start school today, with the exception of me. you see, the reason is that i dont want to go to a jc. not that i wont fit in there, it's simply cos i want something different. i want a different environment, somewhere where i'll only learn what i like to learn which would affect my future. but then again, if i dont go to a jc, i'd definitely miss learning subjects like maths, chemistry, physics, geog, hist, and also miss wearing school uniforms which i like. however i'm willing to forgo these things to do what i really really like and have a passion for. this way, you'll be happy and enjoy what you're learning, which increases the chance of exceling. sometimes we dont have to follow the conventional route that most people take. some people wont enjoy what they are doing cos that path is not for them, and would end up forcing themselves to learn what they do not like or what they're not good at. finally, they get too stressed up and have suicidal thoughts. heh. i think i'm getting out of point. so lets get back to the story. actually i'm not sure what course i'd take if i go to a poly. i have always had thoughts of working in a hospital or in the medical sector, so i'm considering taking up dentistry in nanyang poly. however, i also have an interest in arts and design, so i might consider graphic designing, visual communication, interior designing, architecture, and even horticulture and landscape designing. although this leaves me with many choices to choose from, i feel that making a decision would be rather difficult. next, i'd have to choose which poly to go. i guess the one which would be at the top of my list would be nyp. hopefully it has the courses that i want to take. but of course if other polys have the course that i'm interested in, i'd definitely go there. distance is also a factor, which is why nyp is my obvious top choice. ok, i shall end here.
