oh man. i'm so sad. yati finally went back to indonesia yesterday evening. she went back for good, after four long years here. gosh. i soo miss here. this is the first time i miss someone so so so much. sigh! i wont get to see her anymore. gone are the days when i would sneak up stealthily behind her and give her a shock. gone are the days when i would spray water from upstairs and tell her that it's raining. darn. it was so fun and now i'm so sad. sad sad sad. no other maids can be compared to her. oh man. she wasn't just a domestic helper, but my 'part-time-once-in-a-while' confidante as well. and i so regret not saying the final goodbye after she passed the immigration counter in the airport. we were talking about some rubbish and missed her waving goodbye to us. she must feel so sad too. i guess she's sad also because of the excess baggage payment of forty four dollars she has to pay. she could have used the hundred dollars to buy her family members souvenirs from the airport duty free shops. poor thing :(
now i've got no one to talk to in the afternoons and no one to make fun of or to be maked fun. sigh. gosh. i cant stand this. i want yati back!!
the new maid just arrived. she looks alright. at least not the fierce looking and threatening sort. she's super small size. just like a pea. quite skinny too. actually i feel quite bad asking her to do so many things around the house because she's so small! just like a p5 or p6 student. how can we expect someone so tiny to clean the whole house!! imagine a p6 student vacuuming the basement, living room, dining room, cleaning the rooms upstairs and the attic. doesnt it seem a little too much? but the thing that assures me is the fact that she has worked for a saudi arabian family of seven before. so i guess she's now problem with five of us, plus a dog and one fish, and many plants.
but i still want yati! argghh!
somewhere out there
someone's saying a prayer
that we'll find one another
in that big somewhere out there..
