today started as a very draggy day. cos i start lesson at only 3pm, i therefore had the entire morning to slack around and do housework. then left for school at around 1 plus to check out the new bus route. surprisingly it was quite fast and i got to school in half the usual time i normally take. thanks mummy! you're so smart! ok so i reached school at about 1.40. loitered outside the classrooms for awhile. then this stupid indian cleaner guy kept looking at me so i decided to go to the canteen to see if there're any friends around. pervert indian man. to my dismay there wasnt anyone i new at the designer pad so i went back up again. then thank God this china girl came by and we realised that we were going to the same class. since we had about an hour left, we decided to go to the mensa canteen to have a drink. talked bits. and my goodness!! today i finally realised that china girls dont shave their armpits!! we were talking when she yawned and stretched. and there in front of my was a bush! for about 3 seconds i couldnt help but stare. haha!! the late evening was the best part of the day..cargoship-loads of thanks to my dearest SARAH, LILIN, SHERILYN AND PEIJING for tonight's dinner. i really really really appreciate it! it was quite a scheme. these guys are really good at keeping mum about stuff and acting as if nothing was going to happen. haha. thanks for the cute little cake too. and oops i think i forgot to bring it home! anyway, i really didnt expect that it was meant as a small celebration for my birthday. i thought it was just dinner at her house then discuss the stuffs. heh. okay..maybe about 4% of me sort of expected it. but i just brushed the thought aside. and scheming sarah!! now i know why you asked me what food i like to eat etc!!! fortunately we did give our plan away. thank God! haha. during discussion i was like a bit something wrong.[please mind my perfect engrish] couldnt even count the cell fund money properly and wrote all the wrong numbers. then ended up confusing sarah. quite funny. what a lovely day and i thank god for such wonderful people in my life. :)once again, thanks so much guys!!

today is the first day of school. had the usual first day of semester talk in the morning and it was all crap. it was super long. like around 3 hours!!! then after that we all scrambled out to find our classes. we were all like lost sheep out in the pastures. elizabeth went to the library to explore. super funky!! nice interior design and tons of good books. i think tp seniors dont really read books. the shelves are still full. the only empty shelves are the magazine racks. heh. then we found the computers too. but i think they can only be used to surf the tp website. but whatever la. the first lesson was on marketing. on what marketing and branding was all about, and some misconceptions about it. nto about how to choose fresh fish and chicken. quite nice la. the first lesson in 6 months. in two weeks time we've to write a 800-1000 word essay on something to do with marketing. i should quickly read the assignment brief and get on with it!today also met some new friends in class. still must get used to the fact that we dont have fixed classes and we go to different classes with different people for every subject. oh and talked to jop on msn. super crappy and funny!! okay. i'm off. bye!

hello peeps. if you've realised, i've been missing for the past week. and where was i? at tp design school orientation. it's a 2 day thingy, with a 3 day 2 night camp. which makes it 5 days la. it was alright, but i think some people in my group seem to have a problem with me. but who cares. some people just dont appreciate my kindness. darn them. somebody's gonna get hurt real bad, somebody..[say this with a deep, mellow indian accent]. oh and i cant stand the china girl in my group. even pissed off freddy. we were discussing what to do for the performance night and there she was playing tetris with in her electronic chinese english dictionary. then fred and the rest told her that if she wanted to p;ay, she should go home and play with it. and guess what she did? she said 'hao ar!' , put the thing into her bag and left. for a split second, everyone stared at her in awe. cant stand her man.. but the china people in xm are good people. they're real ladies and real gentlemen. another thing about this girl in tp is that she just comes and leaves as and when she likes. like when we went to sentosa for the midnight games, the whole group of china people just went back to their dormatries. and when i asked them why didnt they come, they just shrugged and said 'landuo'[say this with a china accent to somebody and see how irritated he/she'll get]. what kind of attitude is this!!!!!! i dont think any lecturers or teachers in singapore would tolerate such behaviour and attitude. maybe their teachers in china let them do whatever they wanted, or perhaps they're like that themselves! or mayhaps they dont understand what we're talking about and get very frustrated, due to their limited english vocab. even so, i dont think they even make the effort to try understanding what we're saying. i hope they dont expect us to translate everything the lecturer says. we're all just going to die. at least the malaysian still tries her best to speak english, especially when we did the starwars thingy in hokkien. and at least she volunteered cos she was the most fluent in hokkien, unlike singaporean peoples. oh yes. one thing good about tp is that it has cheap food. like a plate of rice with 2 to 3 ingredients costs $1.20. not bad ar. cheapo gang! you hear this? hee. okay i'm off. bye!

actually i've got a lot of things to complain today but i dont feel like writing anything. i'm too tired and my mind is preoccupied with other things and i've got better things to do than to write all my crap here. such as the challenge sher set us today. i think it's a very meaningful thing to do. so it means that i'd be blogging less. not that i blog very much either. i'm going to blog even less cos school's going to start on monday, with one week of orientation. bleah. i miss homework! even faith as small as a mustard seed moves mountains

yesterday i left my house at about ten plus to go to isetan scotts. you see, they had a sale for card holders, i think. so mum and i went down by mrt, cos the parking at orchard road during a weekday is superbly expensive. anyway, when we got there, it was already terribly crowded, even though the sale only started slightly more than an hour ago. definitely not a place to go for a claustrophobic. you can only walk about one metre before you must say 'excuse me', so that you can go where you want to go. it's also not a place for short people. they'd definitely get lost. all of a suddenly we were hungry so i went down to the mccafe to a get mango smoothie then went up to macs to buy a packet of large fires. when i got to the ground floor, i reelised i couldnt go into isetan cos i didnt have the stupid isetan card. so i had to called mum to come down to pass me the silly card so i could get in. darn. bought several things. two sandals, 1 short, 1 shorts, one ice scoop, vacuum pack bag, two pillows and one bolster. after buying everything, we went to get double chocolate at mccafe. was not bad, i would say. however the chocolate ice blended didnt have enough chocolate, otherwise it'd have tasted much better. :) oh yes, we had lunch at far east. the malay stall on the second or third floor sells good rendang and mee soto. mee soto is my favourite malay food. :) yay. we also dapao-ed some food back for dinner. we walked to tangs to look for dustbins. the brabatia bin is super ex. haha. but it's those good quality bins i think. but maybe we'd go to ikea to buy cheaper ones. heh. on the way to tangs met lilin and her mum. what a coincidence. heh heh. hmm. i still want a track pants. *hints* okay. i got to go do my theory homework. better stop procrastinating. this entry was supposed to be a very short one while burning a cd. now that it's done, i better go. bye.

dettol has now become my best friend. dettol is a brown soluuution. when water is added, it forms a white ppt. okay, maybe not white ppt, but rather, white soluuution. i'm following mrs teo's ways, by the way. dettol is excellent for disinfecting dead birds, which prevents flies from flying around and maggots from infesting and devouring its flesh. dettol is also good for killing ants, especially ants, roaches, wasps, lizards et cetera. it's good if you want to kill a large number of these pests, something like a massacre. cute little pests like ants and flies die instant, i assume painless deaths upon the spraying of dettol. however larger pests like lizards and small rodents need more time. i show absolutely no mercy when it come to killing these things, especially when they're here to irritate man[women][humans]. so if you're an ant or cockroach or lizard reading this, please s c r a m. just a word of advice to ants, or any other small insects, please do not be so stupid to crawl into a bowl of honey/water/soup/syrup even if you're desperately hungry. the reason is because you will drown. then you can finally sing drwoning, by backstreet boys. anyway, many of your fellow counterparts have done it and they all died. so i really urge you not to crawl into liquids even if it is a source of food for you. be smart. the food in the neighbour's house tastes better. for more information about dettol, you can go to http://www.dettol.co.uk .bye! time for sit ups and crunches!

oh my goodness i dunno what's happening. my dog killed a bird. those common black birds flying around. i dont know the reason why he did it, but he already did it. i didnt have the courage to pick it up and dispose it. i decided to take a photo of it. shall not post it here for the sake of readers who have weak stomachs. let me know personally if you want to view the picture. as i got near the dead bird with my camera, my dog suddenly ran towards it and sort of protected it from me. how strange! so i took his leash and tied him up somewhere else while i took my time to take a photo of it. then brilliant me sprayed dettol on the bird and the surrounding area to disinfect it and also so that flies would not keep hovering over it. thereafter, i released my dog. now he's barking away and partly howling. how peculiar and what a strange phenomenon. anyone who knows why such things happen, kindly let me know. are there any reasons why dogs kill birds and protect them? do dogs have feeling towards what they kill? this is becoming quite creepy. arhh..

i really wonder what is wrong with the way people dress these days. on thursday i was in the mrt with andrea on the way to tanjong pagar and saw this old man wearing a PINK von dutch cap. you know those caps that have sort of like nets at the back. okay, maybe he isnt aware of fashion sense cos he's about 70 years old. maybe her wore his son's or daughter's cap. today we went to chinatown market in chinatown. duh. this woman i think in her mid thirties to forties wore some very tight outfit. i suppose she's from the pub nearby. but gosh. her superbly short and tight top coupled with her even shorter and tighter bottom, together with her five inch platform sandals made the hold scene too terrible a sight to behold. *faints* furthermore, she dyed her her this ugly blond shade, making the sight even more obscene. okay.. i'm being quite mean. but since this is my blog, i'm entitled to my own opinions. and i'm NOT racist. then we move about fifteen metres down the lane and sat on another table to have our dessert. as we sat right in front of the dessert stall that had a long queue, i decided to observe people. this lady stoood third in the queue. i think she's in her late twenties or early thirties. i couldnt help but notice the layer of blubber overflowing from her shorts. all these were revealed cos she wore a short that was too short for her. i didnt continue staring cos after awhile i realised that she knew i was staring at her and quickly turned away. hahahaa. after dinner we went downstairs and walked along the stall around there. then i dunno why there was this stage in the middle and another horribly dressed woman was singing some funny song in some funny language. i tell you ar.. i think i can play the guitar better than their guitarist. anyway, my point is how the woman dressed. no doubt she's plump, and although wearing black gives an illusion that a person looks thinner, her outfit somehow further emphasizes that she's plump. and she wore boots!! that's the worse! alllalalalalaaa. i shall end here. i'm very thirsty due to a high intake of ajinomoto. argh. bye!thirsty i amafter eating that much clami'm going to drink some waterbefore i end up going to the doctor

today's such a hot day. this morning met up with sarah to run 2.4km. after only one round, i was already sweating like a pig. can you imagine how much i sweated after running six rounds! oh ya! talking about pigs, i read in the newspapers yesterday that a man in new zealand was made to work in a pig farm and write an essay about the differences between pigs and policemen, after he called the police 'pigs'. isn't it funny? heh heh. so silly. but fun to do such things. another article talked about this cannible in russia who killed his gay partner and kept his arms and organs in the fridge to eat. how gross can it be!! okay i'm digressing. back to my story. lots of thanks sarah for treating me to milo bing after that. it was good, i tell you. must be the condensed milk. even with the ice, it was still very sweet. if you buy from elsewhere, it'll be diluted once ice is added. and fortunately the bus driver allowed me to bring my drink up the bus if not i'd have to wait another century before the next bus comes. then i went home and cooked macaroni. it was nice! at least not burnt! then blah blah blah and now i'm sitting here at the computer typing away, and still, sweating like a pig. what a day! perfect for another packet of milo bing, and maybe i should work in a pig farm and write an essay about the difference between a pig and a human being. LALAAALLAAAA! bye! i'm offff to have a shower. after climbing up the petronas twin towerbut wont i sweat again once i've climbed down?nah.. i'd take a liftcos' you're a clownhaha. crap. bye!

today, may the forth, is not just another ordinary day. it's an important day in chinese history: the may 4th movement, the first mass movement in the modern world history.there were many consequences of the 1911 revolution, and one of them is that foreign intervention in china continued. at the treaty of versailles after world war I, the old german ruled province of shandong was not restored to china, but instead was given to japan. the chinese felt betrayed as even though they joined forces with the allies against germany, her requests we ignored. this stirred up anti japanese sentiments and thus ignited a huge protest in which about 5000 university students in beijing protested the versailles conference. strikes spreaded to shanghai, and a nationwide boycott of japanese goods followed. The May Fourth Movement began a patriotic outburst of new urban intellectuals against foreign imperialists and warlords. Intellectuals identified the political establishment with China’s failure in the modern era, and hundreds of new periodicals published attacks on Chinese traditions, turning to foreign ideas and ideologies. The movement split into leftist and liberal wings. altogether, the may forth movement covered more than 20 provinces and and over 100 cities in china. that was a brief summary of what happened some 86 years ago. something else also happened this day some twenty one years ago. sher was born. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! and thanks for all you've done and the effort and your contributions to the cg. i really appreciate it lots! i hope you liked the little surprise, although you might have half suspected it. hee. once again, have a very merrily happy and blessed twenty-first birthday!!! lalalaaa. i cant hear karen carpenter singing cos the vacuum cleaner is in use. arrhh!! LALALAAAAALLAAAAAA, i sing..these days, in order to use the time i have left wisely, i'm trying to learn how to use the software [macromedia freehand] that i'd be using very often when school starts. about two days ago i asked my mum to ask the temp staff in her office the pre-requisites of the course. you see, she's in the same course that i would be going to. yup. so now i'm learning ahead of the others so that by the time they introduce it during lessons, i'd be very familiar. i also heard that we'd be doing photography in the first term. so i'm going online to read all about photography. actually there are many things behind a good shot, beside know how to use the camera. i'm going to learn about all these first. this is called being kaisu. anyway, i think that being kiasu is quite a good attitude. we should always aim for the best and first. i musnt be made to retake any modules or any semesters in my new school. i dont want and i know i would not. arghh!! i cant hear myself think!! i've decided to pause my carpenters for a moment cos the vacuum cleaner's vroom drowns the music, and even my thoughts. bleah.okay. i decide that i'm typing anymore. my fingers are getting tired. time to rest.

whew! i'm tired cos i just came home. twas' quite an exciting day! went to j8 for awhile to give sher a surprise cos today's her birthday. i'm glad that all went well, only that there were one or two minor glitches. but other than that, everything went according to plan. was good to see that she was pleasantly surprised and that's good! the others went to macs to eat lunch and we tagged along. bernice was super funny, as usual. actually i dont know what makes it so funny when she talks, but we all just keep laughing whenever she tries to tell us something. the funniest thing is that she just keeps talking like nothing happened, despite the fact that we're laughing like giraffes and zebras. okay, i invented that. then after that we went to best to get 'the thing'. i shall not disclose it here cos i'd know who reads this blog. so, it's just a precautionary measure. heh. next serena weijin and i went to novena square to the t shirt shop to check out the shirt sizes. then after dilly dallying and walking here and there, we finally took a bus home.sorry for the abrupt ending cos i got to go cook. bye!

you know, sometimes i think that i made a right decision not to go to a jc. recently i read through the blogs of classmates who are now in jc. and my goodness, almost all their entries are complains about school, school and school. just look at the amount of stress they are under. essays after essays left undone, rejected project work proposals, not meeting deadlines, tests, ccas, and the list goes on. it also goes to the extent of not understanding the lesson at all and hence, not knowing how to do the particular piece of work. this is so demoralising. besides school work, they still have cca which lasts up till 8 at night. and by the time they come home, it's almost 9. i wonder where these get their strengths from to complete their work and projects, until the whole cycle repeats again the next day. sigh. how i pity these people. sigh.no, i'm not trying to imply that there would be no stress in poly or other centralised institution. i just feel that the stress level would not be as high as that of a jc. in a jc, you're forced to take a subject that you dont like in whichever stream you are in. for some people, if you dont a particular subject, you would not pay so much attention to it and thus, not do well for it. however, in a poly, you have the liberty to choose the course that you're interested in and therefore would put in a lot of effort and time into doing it well. okay la. enough said. i shall talk about something else. actually i dont really like discussing issues concerning jcs and ppolys. but since i suddenly though about it, i might as well type it down here. now i shall list a list of things to do this week. but this is not schindler's list. here goes:1] go down to the shirt shop to check the sizes2] go to maxwell market to take pics of sigu's food for his menu3] go to bishan to _______________4] go with andrea to buy some clothes5] go out with weijing6] appointment at sghi better start going out as much as i can right now before school starts in two weeks time. darn. i'm quite nervous about it. it's a whole new environment. okay. i'd end here. got to go relieve myself. bye! i'll be back.
