ymlc was indeed an experience. and i do not regret the decision to go. but anyway i couldnt back out either. heh. was the youngest person from amkmc to go cos sarah couldnt go. if not she'd be the youngest. haha! being the youngest has it's good and bad. hhe. always being made to eat lots of food by cell5..haaha. and got to know people from the older cell groups better, which is good! and i'm in group 1! the youngest group. thankful for nice mentors. and i made new friends from other methodist churches too. juliana and shaun from faith, shauna from methodist church of the incarnation, jacq and ian from barker road, mei en from living hope, yang shen from wesley, and paul from payar lebar, wendy from pentacost and weeteck from aldersgate. nice people:) fortunately i'm not the youngest from my group cos i'm so not used to being one. just as i expected, miss tan from xm was there too! jinghui from tp design also went. learnt many many things about trac, ministries, growing in faith, and methodist distinctives. there was also a session about how to become a pastor. the rev kow shiming who was talking about it was quite funny. he said that the first reason not to become a pastor is if you've got nothing better to do. it's true, but quite funny. but being one is really not easy. got to go through many interviews with 55 board of ministers, then go through a trial period and all that. whew!
at the end i came out refreshed, and strengthened. praise God man. to jop, judy, jit, nelson, louis and andrew: i think amk's worship was good, despite not having a bassist and drummer. but it all doesnt matter, cos God's the focus. yup. thank God! :) :) :) :)
who can it be? heh.
