really inspired after watching the video on photographers during the american-vietnamese war. about how vietnamese and american soldiers risked their lives capturing the war in pictures. many of them disobeyed commands from their generals just to get that shot and of course, looking back, they had no regrets at all. it's really hard trying to be a reporter for your country and at the same time a soldier. the most amazing thing is that everywhere they go they'd bring their developers and fixer and they'd process their film in the middle of the night in the jungle by the stream! imagine how much work they've to do with minimum lighting and putting their lives in danger and bla bla bla and right here in singapore we cant even do a good job processing!! how diu lian. it's true that without hardship we'd never learn.
i'm really disappointed with guys these days. of course not all la. i do know some guys who're real guys. the others dont even deserve to be called guys. today i was at the bus stop at seletar air base. the youngest person there and one of the two girls. when 86 came, all the guys, which includes army personel, and other men aged 20 to 60 rushed to the edge of the pavement hoping that the bus would stop right in front of them so that they can be the first to board and thus get seats. this shows that 1)they are selfish 2)they are ungentlemanly. they are selfish cos they dont take the elderly behind them into consideration and still got the cheek to rush up the bus first. but anyway most of them dont get a seat cos normally all the seats taken and they're too fat to share seats with someone else. besides rushing up the bus, they also squeeze with you, rush to get that seat, not hold doors open for you, jump your queue etc etc. what's worse about them is that cos most of them at that bus stop are either from the army or work as technicians, they would be extremely smelly at the end of the day. pukes. if they sit beside you, you'd probably faint. haaa.
seems as though men dont know how to be men. maybe they might need some girls to teach them how to.
