i'm back in existence. the past days have been quite tiring. today's better. had a chance to go out with two great friends this afternoon. for that, i'm a happy person :)
the late rajaratnam once asked singaporeans if they wanted to be a happy pig or a sad man. which would you choose?
mom's doing preservice prayer this sunday. and i've been asked to play piano for her. to be honest, the nervousness hasnt set in. but it will come soon. AND I MEAN SOOON! another 'wake up early' day. arghh. i've also been asked to play for amkids this sunday and 5612 camp on monday night. apparently those whom i call the 'good ones' pang sehed ben, so he has no choice but to ask me, known as the lousy one. oh well. heck. i'll just do it.
quite excited for tomorrow. it's gonna be a long day. going to pasir ris once again to pretend being mr claude monet, and relive the days of the 1800s. and then i'm gonna travel halfway around the world to choachukang to become a potter, and to impart my new found skills to the future generation. in the evening, i'll set of by steam ship to orchard, where you can buy fruits. hopefully they have durians:) at orchard, you'd also find a building called hyatt hotel. it's made up of cement, not of straw or twigs or hay. yes that's where you will find me at night. i'll be there for two reasons. one is the celebration of yet another year of my sister's life, and the other is something like a prerequisite to a marriage. maybe not a prerequisite. it's going to be a very 'full-filling' night. literally. oh darn! for two days i havent gone for my daily exercise along the river at dawn, and my stroll to city square to feed the pigeons just before the sun sets. when we return home, we'll get to eat this very peculiar thing. a person only gets it once a year. so far, from what i've counted, i've only gotten it 17 times. it's either round or squarish, or what you call a circular square. most of the time it's brown. i dont quite know where there they get it from. it looks and feels like sponges. you know those that grow in the sea? please dont mistake it for the sponge that supposedly lives in a pineapple under the sea, which wears pants. that's the wrong one cos he even talks!another thing i dont understand is the reason behind poking candles into the cake and singing a song to the sponge. perhaps the sponge did something special so it deserves a song. no one has ever sung me a song! alright. i better be going. it's time for me to set of for central park to paint the thursday sunrise. i've painted the monday sunrise, tuesday sunrise and wednesday sunrise. i've decided to name them sunrise 1, sunrise 2 and so on and so forth.
farewell.
